• Where do they hear these false teachings? Can you correct these false teachings with Scripture?
• How can we help one another to be careful who we listen to?
• What’s one way you can protect your family and church from this kind of false teaching?

2. How should believers respond to "rebellious people" in the church? (1:10-13) What were the rebellious people doing that Paul so strongly condemned? (1:11)?

3. What is the danger of professing to know God but not actually living it out? (verse 16)
