January 14, 2024 Preacher: Pastor Omer Mascarina Series: Godly Living in an Ungodly World

Scripture: Titus 1:1–5

MESSAGE: Godly Living in an Ungodly World Series #1: "Saved to Serve"
SCRIPTURE: Titus 1: 1-4
SERMON OUTLINE:

I. The Position of a Servant (v. 1a)

II. The Persuasion in Serving (vv. 1b-3a)

III. The Purpose of Serving (v. 3b)

IV. The Partner in Service (v. 4)

GROUP INTERACTION QUESTIONS:
1. Paul introduces himself as a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ. Would you describe yourself in the
same way? If so, what implications does this have for your life? If not, how would you describe your relationship
with God?
2. How has the knowledge of the truth led to a godly lifestyle in your case? Explain with example/s in your life.
Do we look at our life as having an impact on the faith of others or on the development of their knowledge or
on their increase in godliness? What goals should we be aiming at? What are you going to do about them?
3. How can we better draw comfort and strength from the promises of God, knowing that God "cannot lie"?
4. What has God entrusted to you? How does understanding that you have been entrusted with a task affect
your attitude toward that task?
5. God does not call us to be lone rangers in His service. Rather, we are to be part of a team that loves and cares
for one another while serving together. Are you part of a team like that? Do you care for others like that?
Pray for one another and serve one another.
