Knowing True Love Deeply Inspires us to Love Truly, which reveals God to Others

GROUP INTERACTION QUESTIONS:
1. Explain the difference between the supernatural love described in 1 John 4:7-11 and the
superficial love we gravitate towards.
2. What is the difference between knowing about God and knowing God personally as our Father?
Why is love a good test for whether someone knows God?
3. How does Christ’s work of propitiation help us better understand the love of God? How would
you explain propitiation to your peers? What does it say about God? About man?
